The RIS Foundation has created an initiative dedicated to transforming the lives of unhoused women in Los Angeles. Brightmon Recuperative Care, located in the heart of the city, offers a holistic, short-term residential program exclusively for women aged 17 and above.

Our Vision: Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness

Our center provides wraparound support for the physical and mental well-being of our clients. With easy access to medical appointments through transportation services, a safe environment for healing with trauma-informed care, and three nutritious meals a day, we ensure comprehensive care. Our 24/7 on-site support is available every day of the year.

Empowering Lives Through Skills and Support

Beyond recovery, Brightmon Recuperative Care focuses on empowerment. We offer essential life skills, wound care knowledge, and support for regular medication intake. Our goal is to equip women with the tools they need to regain control of their lives.

Transitioning to a Sustainable Future

Upon completing our program, clients seamlessly enter the Coordinated Entry System (CES) before transitioning to another shared housing location within our network. We provide specialized training in job skills, life skills, and other crucial capabilities, ensuring a confident step into a future free from homelessness.
